Just in time for June, which is “National Safety Month”, our federal friends at ASPR (Health & Human Services Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response) ran a Facebook contest for app development and the two winning apps (“bReddi” and “Project: Lifeline”) are featured on the following ASPR web page:
http://www.phe.gov/lifeline/Pages/default.aspx
Be sure to check it out and be prepared in case that cellphone doesn’t work just the way you’d expect during a disaster! The page features the direct links to the Facebook apps and to the app widgets. You can also view the apps directly if you click on these links:
- bReddi – https://apps.facebook.com/breddiapp/
- Project: Lifeline – https://apps.facebook.com/cblifeline/
